1.Determine your niche

A recruitment agency works in a particular field or industry. They then form relationships with companies within that field. Hence, the first thing you must do is to determine which industry you will be catering too. For example, you can be an IT-focused industry or health-sector oriented.

2.Assess your competitors

Identify your competitors, their skills and services. Perform a SWOT analysis to determine how you stand out among them.

3.Estimate the finances required

Agency recruitment does not require as much money as other startup companies. However, you will have to spend money on an office, office furniture, digital tools etc. Therefore, you should create an estimated budget plan for your expenses.

4.Build marketing plans

Make a unique logo that goes with your agency's tone and style. Then create a marketing plan to improve your business. Identify the tools required to attract business, for example, various job boards and LinkedIn.

5.Set up goals

Set up short term and long term business goals to gain success.

6.Invest in technology

Today, everything is digital. All recruitment agencies have a digital database of candidates and use digital platforms to advertise job vacancies. To stay in the competition, you need to invest in good computers and software required to perform your job efficiently.
